Noise Monitoring regarding the construction site of Bologna High-Speed Railway Junction

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

In the context of a framework agreement concerning noise pollution monitoring for HS and normal railway lines, VDP carried out with the collaboration of Ausilio S.p.A. acoustic level surveys from 2002 to 2007 on the construction site of Bologna High-Speed Railway Junction.

VDP was able to simultaneously manage up to 12 fixed control units with a daily data download and monthly reports describing the noise values. The results were always within the limits of Italian and EU legislation and were continuously verified by ARPA (Emilia-Romagna section). VDP sent these reviewed and edited data to the Customer and also transmitted them to the website of one of the most important construction sites in Italy.
