Traffic surveys and interviews in the city of Florence

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

VDP was selected to carry out traffic surveys and to collect origin / destination data for the Urban Traffic Plan of the City of Florence.
In particular, surveys were conducted on 26 bidirectional sections on Florence main streets and on 10 additional unidirectional sections both during rush and off-peak hours.
Moreover, slightly more than 7500 interviews were conducted for the origin / destination surveys with the support of the Florence Municipal Police and taking into account both private cars and commercial vehicles.
The final report given to the city authorities included both the raw files and the detailed and organized results along the related statistical elaborations
