Environmental Reports for hydrocarbon exploration authorizations concerning the areas "Atripalda - Montorsi and Furnace Persichetti" (AV and BN)

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The activities are related to the preparation and drafting of the Environmental Report, as provided in the Decree of the President of the Republic n. 526 of 18 April 1994 and as described in Annex III / a “Scheme of the Environmental Report contents for the license for research in mainland - art. 2 of Presidential Decree”.

Initially, the environmental aspects related to drilling operations have been analyzed, with particular attention to:

  • techniques of preparation
  • techniques of drilling and circulation of drilling fluids
  • pipe-laying techniques and protection of water reserves
  • technical prevention of environmental risks.

The territorial context has been subsequently defined, as well as the environmental systems concerned, in particular:

  • land use, regulatory constraints, protected natural areas, areas under saferguards
  • aquatic environment: characterization of surface watercourses
  • soil and subsoil: geomorphological characterization; hydrogeological characterization indicating the aquifers
  • vegetation, flora, fauna and ecosystems
  • landscape

The reports have been sent to the competent authorities, namely the Ministry Environment, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and the Region of Campania.
