Research about public transportation in Rome
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
ATAC, the Municipality of Rome Transport Company, has launched a monitoring of public transport in 55 areas of the city, affecting 140 peripheral bus lines, in order to assess occupancy levels at specific times (from 8.00 to 18:00), and at a certain period of the year (November and December).
PROJECT CHARACTERISTICS
The activities concerned the execution of about 20,000 interviews at bus stops by teams of operators located in the monitoring zones, countings on sections of mono or bi-directional bus stops, as well as monitoring of drop-on/drop-off movements on 140 peripheral lines identified by ATAC.
