PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Vatovavy - Fitovinany is a region belonging to the Fianarantsoa Province in the eastern part of Madagascar. It has a population of 1.1 million persons distributed over an area of 19,605 square kilometers.

The project involved activities of geological studies and environmental control and surveillance regarding the geotechnical studies carried out for the construction of eight dams in this region.
