Traffic engineering activities for the traffic study of the city of Guayaquil in Ecuador

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The activity involved the organization and supervision of traffic surveys for the preliminary study regarding the construction of a major fast road in the city of Guayaquil (Ecuador).
Establishing a 4-month temporary operating office in the client’s headquarters, VDP was able to provide support and guidance to the project engineers and to coordinate the field technicians for origin/destination analyses and traffic volume counts in the main roads of the city.

The Guayaquil Traffic Study was financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
