Rome Taxi-bus service

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

In order to encourage the use of public transport during the jubilee events, the Municipality of Rome authorized those who made regular request to arrange transport of people for a fee on predefined paths properly marked on the road.

The assignement consisted in an organization of path requests received and their stops in order to offer to users an efficient and well scattered service in the territory by limiting, at the same time, the presence of information points especially in the city center.

PROJECT CHARACTERISTICS

The activities included:

• Definition and organization of routes;
• Location of info signals and info service;
• Plans and elevations surveys for the positioning of signals;
• Creation of database and maps of pathways.
