Environmental impact study for the 380-kV Taranto Galatina Transmission Power Line

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

VDP was selected to carry out the Environmental Impact Study required by the authorization procedures regarding the 380 kV Taranto-Galatina Power Line.
Therefore the environmental framework, the design phase and the non-technical project summary were set according to Law provisions (DPCM 27.12 / 88).

It is important to recall the following stages of the study:

  •  Comprehensive collection of already-available environmental and territorial data;
  •  Gathering of further relevant elements through on-site surveys and measurements;
  •  Evaluation of the work effects on the individual environmental components and on the overall environmental system;
  •  Preparation of the inclusive report and of the non-technical summary both dedicated to public engagement and information;
  •  Technical assistance comprising additional documentation at the appraisal stage.
